919 left passenger peg screw will fall out - Wrist Twisters
Apply a dab of blue Loctite 242 threadlocker to the threads of the bar end screws and shift lever bolt. These bar end screws and shift lever bolt have been know to vibrate loose.
Also apply a dab of blue loctite 242 to the the seat lock mechanism bolt.

Important Specifications:
Handle bar dimensions, OEM and aftermarket
* All years have seven position spring preload adjustment on rear shock
* All years use 43mm front forks
* Stock Mirrors: The OEM Honda mirrors are both 10 mm x 1.25 left hand threads. They screw into OEM Honda adapters which are also 10 mm x 1.25 left hand female threads. The male threads on the adapter are 10 mm x 1.25 right hand thread and they screw into the handle bar mounts.

well... my '03 had the two hook set (4 hooks) with the sideways entry for the owners manual pouch and the pedestal under the passenger section for extra support against the frame I assume so the seat pan doesn't crack under your passenger. Incidentally, the PC3 install instructions show them mounting the PC3 right where the seat pedestal sits.

My guess, my seat was switched at the dealership. Maybe the seat I bought on eBay was the original off my bike? It looked new and completely clean except for a small hole punched in the top. Most likely a showroom floor incident. It was the perfect candidate for a Sargent recover, that's for sure.
