Jordan will lose that last little sliver of respect I have for him if he hires Yates. That boy should be doing hard time at the penitentiary instead of racing bikes.

 

I would not mind Yates stupid attitude if he would only back it up with consistent talent.

 

Sure he's got his tantrums but let's be honest, they boy has talent!!! So he's not as talented as Spies or Mladin is, Uhmmm, rumor has it he doesn't like traction control that much so he doesn't use it to his advantage like Spies and Mladin are but who else is better in the paddock than him? Not many people, privateers or Pro's.

Jordan's team needs a guy who can put his bikes on top 5 not top 20. I like Pridmore as much as the next guy but I also like Pegram... do you know where I am going with this? Sure, they may do something with better bikes, sure if my grandma had nuts... and all that jazz :lol:

 

I hear tons of different stuff about Yates. But it is darn fun watching him smoke the rear when he wants. He had it sideways all the way up the hill just for fun after Q on Saturday.


Tons of rumors flying and lots of people talking to each other. If you think rider movement and jockeying is big, you should see mechanics working it.

This should make things interesting. Who will got to Kawi..rumor is Hacking. How will this effect the family??

Yep. So be the "reliable" reports he will be riding for Yosh in Superbike and Supersport.

Maybe Hacker to Kawi in Superbike and maybe another support class.

I guess that puts E-Boz and JD40 in Superbike for Yammie.

Who knows where Yates will land and other supprt teams. More news should spill at Mid-O.

Some seats open....I will wait for the "official" release to say which seat is open. Definitely still some rider movement left to happen and possibly crew as well.

 

The AMA needs some serious work done to it. Too many classes that are too alike, 600cc bikes running the Daytona 200 with the better riders on the sidelines, etc. Not to mention the front office personnel turnover.

Do you have to look good or finish to qualify for your team? I may not be fast, but damn I'm good looking. Could pull off the whole Ben Bostrom thing for a season...hahaha.

 

Rumor has it a few more satellite teams for next year. the industry is growing. Just sad the people in charge can not get their act together.

Some of you faster guys should seriously consider coming to the Amateur race next year. The lady who runs it is an awesome person. the guys raced Sunday and just loved it. Cool group of guys.

Sure would be nice if the AMA could get thier SHI...P together. After watching the WSB and the AMA back to back the other day; there is no comparision. The WSB production is far superior, and the racing is excellent.

 

If you go to RRX online, Pridmore pretty much lays it on the line about the AMA since he's retired now. We all know it, just fun to hear riders talk about it.

Did you see Hodgson's comments on speed TV about the boycott? I like that dude.

 

Yep riders and crew were telling it flat out. Plenty of riders had a lot to say. read some of the post race press conference script on Soup.


And I am serious. You guys REALLY need to come to the Amateur races next year. I will help out in the pits where I can.

Man Yates is a PR nightmare. Seems like the guys has no fans. The stunt at Daytona was mindless for sure. I've dealt with him from time to time and he is always really friendly and laid back. Must be a totally different guy on the track.

 

Plenty of people have not resigned or signed with anyone as of yet. I think technically Jordan has no signed riders but I don't see them letting Jake and Steve go. Maybe 1 of them but not both. Plus Pridmore's ride is now open.

Buckmaster is not resigned.

Yates has not signed.

Yamaha has a seat open I could see Yates taking.

B-Boz and Hodgson unsigned.

Plenty of other guys who run in the 11-20 place on the various other support teams probably still looking for rides.
