Other people have said that in the reviews. I kinda like it, as opposed to the big bird beak on everything else. Lots of tech in the lighting- looking through corners and such... lots of tech all over the bike. Looks like the rest of the adv crowd has some catching up to do. Never rode a 150 hp bike before, but the local shop will have one next month. Yeehaa

The problem with lots of tech is that there is a lot more things to go wrong. I prefer my ADV bikes to be simple.
But that engine is awesome. I hope HD put that motor into a couple of different bikes.
Cool you get to test ride one. Post a review and don’t forget the bike porn.

Gotta laugh................................
Along the same lines:
I am firm of mind that everyone should live in high density housing near public transit.
Seeing as I already have MY 4 bedroom house with double car garage and green out front and back..................................

The other thing I don't get, is that it's not the first time Harley has made this type of bike. They offered Enduro style bikes back in the 70s. But I suppose, that is way before most riders now can remember. A friend of mine's dad had one in an old barn when I was younger. I thought it was pretty cool.

Not saying that the bikes of then are a great comparison to the new age. Just saying the one who wrote that article needs to learn the history of the bikes they are talking about. To say that this is the first of it's kind by Harley just proves how little they researched. Not the first, but maybe a better version this time around. Although, still ugly..
Harley always did like making bikes look like a bus... lol...

I rode a kick-start only 1978 1/2 Shovelhead for almost 15 years. Trust me, I know what lack of tech is.
It's the first of it's kind cuz they couldn't shake their tunnel vision, wouldn't deviate from their fan base, and wouldn't have embraced the tech even if it smacked them to the ground. I'm thinkin this is the first case of (HD) history NOT repeating itself.
Haven't been on a Harley since 1997, but Ima post some pics purty soon...yeehaaa

I like the look a lot. It's in the same weight range as all the other litre ADV bikes and HD took a lot of pound-shedding measures in this endeavor. Some have questioned whether HD should have targeted the 750cc class first, but the whole-hog approach seems to be the right tack, imo. Go big
