Cleaned out a neighbors SV tank and have plenty of acid left over. Want to clean out the non-dented tank I have, but not sure how I can seal it up without installing a fuel pump. Any genius ideas to plug it up? On the SV it has an external o-ring, so I just cut a thickish piece of plastic and bolted it in place and it held fine for the 24hrs it took to clean up that tank. 919 tank has hips and valleys and lacks an external o-ring so that trick isn't going to work so well. Build it up with hot glue and hope for the best? At the worst it's going to drip into a bucket and maybe help remove some of the paint on my garage floor, but I'd rather not chase a mess if I can avoid it.

If the hole for the pump is circular get a rubber or cork stopper like for a sink or bath tube. Worked great on a cb350 tank I cleaned over the summer.
