Just picked up a very clean bone stock 2004 Honda 919 with 20,000 miles at a great price.
I've wanted one of these bikes since I first sat on one back in 2004.
Already made my first mod by changing out those goofy stock mirrors.
I live in the mountains of WV so I've got lots of twisties to carve through.
I also ride a 2011 Street Glide and a 1985 Honda Nighthawk 700S.
It's going to take me a while to get used to the 110 hp and the awesome handling.
I'm new to these bikes so I'll be asking some pretty stupid questions until I get up to speed.
Anyway here's a pic of the bike.
See you all out on the road.
696cc= 80HP= 120MPH
6 speed tranny
Hydraulic clutch
Hydraulic lifters
Auto cam chain adjuster
Shaft drive
Oil cooler w/ cooling circuit in frame
Spin-on oil filter (1st for Honda inline 4's)
Trac anti-dive forks (for what it was worth) +
Compression and rebound dampening adj on rear (Interceptor suspension)
Fork brace
Dual front disc
Fuel gauge
Gear position indicator
Adj handlebars
16" rims frt and rr
Honda had a lot of money to throw around back then and this was one of their "tariff buster" bikes. Good shot.
$3300 would buy a lot of bike back then.
Pass the wetnaps, plz.
My fav part is all of them wearing fork boots. Love some booties
