$50 a month with Progressive. Living in Tucson, the vehicle theft capital of the US and uninsured driver capital of the US, I have full coverage!! (2005 919). :tank:

Was originally quoted $30 a month with Safeco. I jumped at that, only to have them send me an adjustment about 3 weeks later... from $450 or so annual to $2400. They claimed that they had just re-classified the 919 as a sportbike as opposed to a standard. :cursing:

It should be interesting to see what the renewal rates are going to be from Progressive . Rumor has it the 919 has been reclassified as a sport bike. WTF is that all about?:cursing:

State Farm classifies me as a youngun, so I'm screwed no matter who insures me. Lousy 24 years of age. Can't wait til November when I turn 25 and my rates drop.

About $68 a month. Full cover on the RC.

I don't know what my friends are paying exactly, but I know a few of them said they were quoted around $1600 a year for full cover on 600cc sportbikes.

Don't have a street bike so insurance is uber cheap. Just have the minimum in case someone steals it.

$82 Month includes:

1. Full Coverage on 1996 Ford E-150 Van
2. Full Covergae on 12x6 Pace trailer
3. Home Owners insurance for the Condo
4. Liability/Uninsured Motorist on my 1995 CBR900RR

StateFarm in Seattle, WA. :cool2:

Pretty cheap if you ask me. But then I have paid my dues. First car: 1989 VW Jetta, $4200 per year with AAA.

Now, anyone know where to get racebike insurance? I only want to cover it for theft/fire. Home owners wont cover it because it is a vehicle. Statefarm says I have to have vehicle policy to cover it. Thing is I dont want a full policy on it, too much $$$. Plus it is not registered which I would need to do.

This only holds true if you have had yor license since you were 16. Its not the age, its the length of time for having had your DL. If you got it when you were 16 then at 25 you would have had it for 9 years and that is the key. Rates lower after having had a DL for 9 years. (Was that way in CA anyway)

I found out the hard way as my rates did not drop @ 25 since I got my DL @ 18!

Way to much when you add them all up. Damn, Massachusetts sucks for insurance! Based on replacement values the custom alone is $2100/yr and the H-D (customized) is $1800/yr. The cheapest of the bunch is the oldest, XX at $800/yr. Saddest part is this past was the least amount of riding I've very done!

70/mo for the 636 which is "middleweight" since it is 600-750cc. Statefarm

Paid 150/mo for the 954.

Both full coverage, both for a 22 yr old male with less than perfect record.

Got quoted from progessive for only 183/mo for my 636...ripoff

To add to that, I spoke with Progressive and they told me it would be $175 a month($2100/yr). They then had the balls to tell me that State Far would charge me $135 a month when I had State Farm and was paying $68. Jack asses.
