Broke this bad boy in today. 50km of Bush tracks and beach. I used this method.
Break In Secrets--How To Break In New Motorcycle and Car Engines For More Power
Hard acceleration and deceleration, all gears. Changed out oil when I got home. Oil had a definite metallic glint to it so I'm glad I did. I'll do it again real soon. Suzuki recommend first change at 1000km. Also to take it very easy, only 1/2 throttle for the first 1000km km then 3/4 throttle for till 1600km. I probably take it fairly easy for a bit know.
Bike is fantastic in the bush. Loads of power. Dealer removed restrictions.
Its actually my farm bike, I use it for work. At least I'll tell the taxman that.
Good work! Loads of them in NZ, you can't kill them apparently.

Just as well they've got that transportation place for hives, eh? Tell the taxman that's why they, uh, make an excellent work vehicle.

That's a good look, mate.

As to the tyres, I thought this bike was your off-road recreational thrasher? What kind of rubber are you going to go for? Adventure bike style?
