I need expert advice. None of the other posts are remotely helpful. 2007 CB919 13k miles. I ride it hard. Started getting a noise on acceleration and when i first let off and the engine brake kicks in. It either stops making noise after i get going or my aftermarket pipes drown out the noise. Kind of a tick tick noise. Sounds like its coming from the front sprocket area or lower left side. Took the chain and front sprocket off and noise is still there just not as loud. No play in the shaft. Only does it while in gear. In neutral it purrs like a kitten. Took the covers off and clutch is fine and cam chain is good. Got a new cam chain tensioner just for the hell of it. Im ready to split the case and dont want to. These bikes are solid, i cant imagine the trans breaking in 13k miles. Everything still works, shifts, hauls ass. But that noise is not normal. I think those 300ft burn outs just cost me 2k. For some reason people say the 919 is slow
