My rep told me about a Brand called Racer gloves.
Looks very good in the photo's.They are kangaroo leather ala Held gloves
Have anyone tried a pair yet.Need some opinions can't find any thing online.
The manufacture does not have a web site.

Nice review. I am in the market for a new set of gloves, Might have to give these a go! Now I just have to find a place to buy them. there website does not list any US dealers. :confused:

My 6 yrs old held gloves are smelling kind of funky anyways.

Yes he got them in and I bought a pair from him. I am out of town right now but will be home tomorrow. I will report on them as soon as I give them a once over.

Nope! But I will be having some of that Tibetan Saki in First class from Cary, NC to Seattle! :thumbup:

OK, finally home and sobered up from the Saki.

The gloves seem to be well built using Keprotec and Kangaroo leather. All the seams are on the outside giving them a more slim fit. There is plenty of protection in all the right areas: Knuckles, fingers, palms, back of the wrist, etc though the leather doesnt feel that thick. They did double up in what feels would be the impact areas.

The Pinky and Ring finger are attached at the top with a piece of leather. Not sure how I like it yet. The right hand feels kinda wierd, like there is too much leather in between the fingers making it hard to close them around the grip. I didnt notice it on the left hand. (this good be from broken pinky knuckles in the past)

These are not cold weather riging gloves! It was about 45-50 when I went for a ride yesterday and my hands were plenty cold. I could not tell if the finger vents on the middle and ring finger work since it was so cold but they probably would vent well.

The index and middle finger have ruberized strips on the tips to help with grasping the clutch/brake levers, a nice little touch. The velcro is sturdy with plenty of grip and there is small leather flap to protect the velcro wrist strap as well.

All in all I would give these gloves 4 stars out of 5 for quality with out crash testing them, 3 1/2 stars for fit since the right glove pink/ring finger issue. (Left glove is a 4)

So if you are looking for a new glove, i'd say give these a try. The price is good and over all, its a well built glove. I will be using these as my primary race gloves this season so we'll see how they hold up. :punk:

The joining of the pinky and ring finger is supposed to me for racing purposes to keep the fingers together since most rider use a two-finger grip on both levers.

So, how much did these things cost to get them in? I am considering new gloves and so far, on the short list are:

MotoGP
Teknice Violators and Speedstar
Spidi
and Maybe A-Star GP Plus or something.

$154.00 Shipped to my house, though I think e300ZOOM gave me a deal oin them.

They look sturdy enough. Anyone ever try them or heard of them? Looks to be a new company.
I think there's a big wave of Eastern European makers coming. Some of them have been sewing for years and may have been sub-contracting for the big guys, and I'm sure some are concentrating on the $100 eBay Rossi suits.

I wouldn't buy any of the mystery leathers without at least holding them and crawling over the suit to see what's up. For you Pacific North West Coast folks here's a semi-secret gem, PSI. They're up front about what they do, and where the gear is made. I've seen a bunch of beautiful customs, and some very crashed gear at the local track that's survived.
