Anyone here do any drag racing with the bike?

Do any of you guys/girls do this? I went down to Bradenton yesterday to watch some bikes and cars do the racing. I actually want to try it just for fun. In fact one the girls I was with wants to try it too with her gixxer 600.

Every other Tuesday there is a drag strip near me that does open runs in the summer. Have thought about taking a run. Just for fun.

WE have an 1/8 mile local they do weds and fri grudge/test nights...Yeah I'm tempted who isn't.

YUP!!! You know i've always wanted to try the drag strip. I just love the speed so what better way to go fast? Even if its only for a short distance! We are going girl!!!!

Ok we need to get with Lonna and figure out a day to go...she knows more about BMP than I do..I did check out their website last night and they have test and tunes on Saturday coming in March/April

I more than wish I could head South for a lil 1/4 mile play.......problem is the sun ya'll sent up North arrived today but I think some S.O.B. at the shipping company stole the heat outta the package before they made delivery! And I really had all the intentions of using said heat to melt the ice on my driveway so that I could at least get my bike up to the road............

Motohead will come with ya. But he is gonna dress in womens clothes and sneakers, cause that's the only drag racing he's ever done.

Not too bad on the 250 Ninja. Just keep it pointed straight and don't slip your foot off the peg when banging the gears.

Angela is always motoring when we hit long starights. Surprised she has not said anything.

Of course she just plain drives fast...ask her.:huh:
