Does anyone know what size exhaust clamp is used to secure an after market muffler to the stock mid exhaust section ? Thanks

I have quick access to a pair of stock mufflers, would that be any help? I'm not sure where the "mid exhaust section" you refer to would end - is that the Y pipe?

I can't tell you how surprised I was to find a y-pipe also
on the shelf.

So I can tell you about two clamp sizes - the one on the larger end of the y-pipe has an ID of around 53mm; those clamping the mufflers to the ends of the y-pipe have an ID of around 43mm.
