History
I bought this bike a couple of months ago (March 2017) with 39,000 miles on it. It was in excellent condition, just needing a little maintenance and clutch repair/replace soon. It has kuryakn air pillow grips with throttle booster, on a pair of Kong ape hangers, skull brake and clutch levers, and the Suzuki emblem on the back of the sissy bar has been replaced with a cross emblem. I had a rear tire put on it in April, front tire was new. In the near future I will be replacing the clutch springs and bolts with a high performance set that is supposedly the best money can buy. I got them from the maker himself. And also a new pair of foot pegs that match the grips. Battery was replaced about 3-4 weeks ago and is still giving me trouble. Every week or so it goes dead and I have to pull it and charge it up before I can ride. That's no good! Also, the ape's might have to go. They are causing my left elbow some serious pain. I added a "barrel" shaped cargo bag to the front, hanging off of the light bar (which I am seriously considering removing), and purchased a rotor lock with an alarm to secure the bike, since the fork lock has no key and there is no other security on the bike. It came with the factory saddle bags and I am considering putting them on just for the cargo space. I hate the look of bags, but they are convenient as all hell. In the future I may redo the bike to make it more my own style. For now, it looks too good to tear into it yet.
