Brev...I was going to say the same thing...but didn't want to seem like a nit-picker. I've seen $100 parts from Takegawa and Kitaco for mini racers with far nicer machine work. Hell...I could have put a better finish on some of those parts with my manual Bridgeport mill. It kinda looks like they skipped the final passes on the CNC program. Personally I hate that kind of finish...makes cleaning a real pain.
Like you say...perhaps that's normal on "full-race" parts where finish is secondary to function and costs.

Is it just me, or did some of the machined parts look a little rough? Maybe they're going for that look, but the rows of cuts didn't look 'clean' to me. Granted, they were consistent on all planes, but I thought it showed the wrong cutting tool was utilized.
Other than that, absolutely amazing! Talk about unique!

If he has it - let him...

Or...you could add $10k to a Gixxer and go faster
But it is beautiful.

I'm sorry, but to me, no matter how much money I would ever, ever have, bikes are for riding. And, any of the modern literbikes (or twin equivalents) need little or nothing to be more capable than all but professional racers can extract. So, doing stuff because it is cool or pretty is fine with me, as long as a bike is ridden. But, when I read this stuff, it makes me think the bike will be a trailer queen. Maybe I should re-read it after I have some rest (which should be in a couple of weeks).
My dream would be a desmo with superbike bars and treating her like any other daily ridden bike. Partially because it would "kill" the average Duc lover to see the superbike bars on her.

According to a guy I know they are building it for an OBGYN surgeion.
The bike is beautiful so far.

It is beautiful, but I have to laugh at the, 'And this cost $20,000... And this part is worth the $3000..' crap.
Ok as$hole.. We get it.. You're filthy rich. Spare us the obvious "modesty" and shut the hell up while you are at it.
Sad to say, but in my imagination, this featherweight work of a wallet will end up as a you tube video that we all eventually laugh and cringe at as it's destroyed by some idiot. The same thing we do with every crashed monster bike, car or aircraft..
Yes, we will laugh. It's proven.
Then we will all slowly head to the garage and admire our modest but very fast motorcycles and probably go for a ride.
