Hey Scott, I finally figured out why my Super Duke was hard to start. It would spin, but not fire. As you know, the SD has built into it's ECU, that if voltage gets low, to protect the electronic componants, the bike won't get any spark. Well after a few days, the Yasua, which was marginal to start with, would drain off a bit. The Shorai will hold more volts for a lot longer. I let the bike set for 2 weeks, after which, it's usually a pig to start. It fired right up. I've done that a couple of times right now. It's worked every time. I just needed a stronger battery. Live and learn.
