hi. Can I please get the link to the drop box folder for 919? I need to replace throttle cables and I'm at the hard part already.

I gave up. I couldn't post anything, it would constantly crash, etc. This site brings my super computer to a crawl and I can't stand it.

Too much going on in life right now, too, unfortunately. Bike is up for sale. :-(

If you have the time, for sure.
I have some longer term plans for a track only 919 and have sketched in a linked rear like yours.

Racetech standard rebound valve kit is FRGV S02 not 502 and 502 likely is error and item is really SO2
Racetech G2-R compression valve kit is FMGV S2040G so that one is OK
Emulators are for damping rod forks, valves are for cartridge forks, emulators are not applicable to any 919 fork.
1.0 springs are too stiff for anybody, even a huge guy touring with mega weight gear or passenger, even then it would ride like a truck. Anything over .925 is questionable in my mind re street riding and the odd track day or just street. .90s are a good all time street rate unless gross bike weight is very heavy.
    Does this help you ?

hi do you have an opinion on this stuff?

    Re: front end stuff
box 1 contains 1.0kg/mm springs as well as probably pvc tubing to make spacers if required, just seems to be how race tech does it. heck, stickers a probably still in the box.
package 2 has FRGV 502 Showa/Kayaba rebound gold valve in a heat sealed factory package with instructions
package 3 has FMGV s2050g Gold valve kit in a clam shell type package
and package 4 has gold valve emulators.
Parts Canada numbers are 204913, 203651,203738 and 203559.
All pieces together, give the 919 conventional (old school) forks MOST of the adjustability of todays Supersport forks minus hi/lo speed compression damping.
Waiting til new year not an issue as you were 1st to inquire and they aren't costing me anything sitting where they are .
give me your email address and I'll send what photos I have, heck, might even take a couple more for you.

use 15 mm of internal preload when determining the front spring spacer length.
Wind in the ride height adjusters all the way to lift up the front.
Drop the tubes down the top of the cap is flush with the top of the upper triple clamp.
Don't drop more than 5 mm beyond that if you are trying to leave some adjustment room in the ride height adjusters.
The 919 responds well to being set up to run "tall", and remain super stable while easier to muscle in and out of turns and transitions.

No worries mcromo. I will try to get down to the local suspension guys and see what they have. Hopefully the guys at KFG Racing will be able to accommodate a mixed spring rate request.

It seems raising the shock height and then doing the sags would accomplish better numbers for me. It would also put more weight on those front springs. At the sacrifice of trail. This is for the time being, until I redo the forks and/or swap the Penske spring.

It's all good, looks like you figured it out. I'll do another backup of it right now.
