Whats it worth?

I have an 86 Honda XL250R, with less then 9,000 miles on it, and less then 3,000 miles since the previous owner had the top end rebuild and bored out (broke a valve). The bike runs awesome considering it is only a 250, and gets an average of 60-65mpg (highest I ever got was 74.9). Bike is in good shape mechanicaly, just did a valve adjustment, changed out the forkseals and a few random oil seals. Also custom fit an exhaust to it (no one, not even honda, makes a muffler for it). Looking to sell the bike and pick up an 06 919 thats still sitting in the dealership. Bike was used as a dirt bike for a period and you can tell, the front fender is cracked and pop-riveted back together, as is the headlight shell. Any ball-park ideas as to what to list it when trying to sell it?

Check out some of the used bikes first. You can puck up a used 919 for around 5k or less.

'86 in that condition and mileage I wouldn't say more than $650.

ouch, i was hoping for more. ive seen a couple of older ones (prior to the RFVC motor) sell for like 1600 with similar miles, and only a better paint job. If worse comes to worse, I'll end up keeping it and use it as a learners bike.
