Went for a little ride today...

I went for a little ride today to juet get some "self time." I needed to think a bit, so instead of taking my normal back roads, i went more scenic. I headed to Williamsburg/Jamestown. I headed up the Colonial parkway and visited places I used to picnic with my family as a kid.

I continue up for a bit and then headed over to the river. Sat for a while listening to water lap and just enjoyed getting away from the road, city, etc...

Boy am I happy I never sold my adventure bike

Sounds nice...I've been thinking I need some of that myself. I've got a lot going on. I gotta stick to tarmac though or go off roading on my Trek.

With all that thinking, did you figure anything out?

Nice pictures, but I'm confused. Since when did you need an adv bike to ride the parkway?

All I think of when I am on that road are all the unsolved murders that happened there.

No really, that is a beautiful drive. Is the Yorktown Pub still there?

Nice,
I can't wait til I have the garage space to add a "mileage capable" bike. Some sort of unplanned mountain trip sounds nice.

The all white color scheme reminds me of this can of generic beer. It should have the word "MOTORCYCLE" in black letters printed across the tank.
