you have to do it Mike. You'll love it.

trying to get myself organized to do a shortcourse, gokart track style, that's where I'll get the kickin' pictures. Bigger tracks are a bad idea to ride dirtbike style.

I know...I know...It's killing me! I want one soooooo bad.
I also want a true track bike. I have a tendency to get into too many things at once.
I get some of my Motard fix in the desert. That holds me for now.
But I don't know how much longer thats gonna work.

Just grab those reflectors on your fork and give them a twist. They're on with double sided tape.

He's planning on scraping them off at the short course event.

Asphalt whoops into an asphalt table and a concrete berm! Wicked!

I like that save at the end.

That track spanks anything we have here.

Excellent pics jet. It really looks like you are enjoying that new ride. You know, VIR has the patriot course which is perfect for the motards.

Thanks Ridge,
I'll have more pics in a few days. The photography team shot some 4000 pictures over two days so the sorting task is taking some time. Hopefully they got a shot of me lofting the front wheel on the drive out of T8, leaned over and crossed up.
Unfortunately my next trackday isn't for another 55 days. Might have to sneak away for a Monday trackday in a couple weeks.

That SM of yours looks like a blast to ride. If we could see inside your helmet I'm betting there is a grin from ear to ear.

A vacation/personal/sick day is in order for that Monday.

We do a couple of kart races a year at OGP, I have heard they do some motard events. Very cool track! Check it out at ocalagranprix.com

Yeah, one of the best videos on the net. I think. I have a friend that races AMA SuperMoto and he watches that video daily I think.

I like Nicky's flappy hat. I also like how he does a wheelie and then Motohead's brother tries the same and wobbles it side to side...

SM bikes are a blast! I broke-in my friends DRZ-SM a few weeks ago and have been hooked evey since. I recently put some maxxis pro-max tires on my dual-sported XR250 and have been trying to do my best "Jeff Ward" impression when ever I get the chance. My 919 has been collecting dust for the past three weeks.

Nice pic Jet ...

Yes, I'm jealous! I like SM ... but it didn't like me at first and I've not had a chance to redeem myself!

I'm afraid if I got a SM for the street I'd end up under the jail.

The Husky looks sick. I just built my 426 and did two track days. The thing is a blast. You can brake way deep and pick any line you want pretty much. I don't understand why more people don't ride them. If we could only get the OEM to build more of them. The DRZ is okay and would consider one for the street.
The only problems I had on mine were poor selection of tires, chain rub on tire and rim, tried to push chain slider too long before changing, and gearing way too short for the track. I guess this is part of learning curve for these things.
