Project KLR650 - A quest for ADV cool

Techmount bar mounted GPS carrying platform

Get rid of that inner fender and relocate the plate up top.

Decided the best place to mount things had a lot to do with not wanting to drill holes in plastic if not necessary, so I mounted the PIAA power button in an easily accessible place.

First PIAA 510 mounted

Tapped the license plate light harness for ignition power

9v dc power installed in the least costly part i could find that would work.

All work well, all looks good.

I noticed the temperature indicator this morning, it barely got off the coldest point on the range. It was a slightly chilly morning but not cold enough for liners and a balaclava.

Is it possible to run too cold?

Nice clean installation. How is the PIAA power button secured?

Great job on the mods. As for the temp, mine stays at the lowest point while riding and climbs only after stopped for a few minutes.

Double sided sticky-back that comes with the lights. It wont last forever but I have extra in the toolbox.
