Talking New Luggage

So you heard I ordered the Givi V46 top case. And WOW is this thing roomy. 46 Liters is alot more than I thought it was. Well, anyway, here you go. I anxiously await next weekend for the road trip to meet h_ryder in Bristol, TN. 4-5 hours of beautiful scenic NC mountain roads.

That plate that it is mounted to is an aftermarket piece as well. It allows me to move the case forward and back depending on the load and or passenger.

It can hold two full face helmets if that gives you an idea. I am going to get sidecases as well, but I don't know how large they will need to be after mounting this beauty.

You can get a week's worth of clothing out of that thing easy. Looks nice.

James -

You are styling there my man! I wonder how well it will corner or lean when I take it out for a hot lap at Jennings

Those look really nice man, starting to make the Strom a true tourer.

Thanks for that. I hope to make it to the frigid north next year, so look for me headed your way.

WIM, I dunno about Jennings, but I was dragging my peg feelers through the mountains on the way back from my Tennessee trip. I am apprehensive to the mass that these cases will take up. I may need some of that dark matter Jet was talking about to compress them into a more suitable mountain road touring size.

But... if you use that dark matter, then it will really be nothing, and if it is nothing, then there will be no mass.

You would have to bring up that little detail huh? Well, it could be worse, I could be totally without a motorcycle to put luggage on.

Furthest north he goes is the Mason/Dixon line.

If I do go above the Mason-Dixon, I am duly prepared for the Union Aggressors. Damn Yanks!

Well, I received the E41 cases as mentioned earlier, and they are on their way back to Givi. Waaaaaayyyy too big! My top case is 46liters, and actually holds quite alot. So, I tweaked, and thought for a bit about space requirements, and what I would actually need on a long trip. I decided to get the E21 sidecases. 21 Liters each, I should be able to fit whatever need be for a week long trip between my V46 topcase, the two E21's and my Tank bag.
