New legislation

Has this been posted already?

I think this is just the beginning. Also read that in Illinois they are trying to pass a law which in effect says if you have a FOID card you need to carry a million dollar liability policy.

Little side note if your homes are older than I believe 1978 it is soon going to cost you alot more money for home improvements, because of the guide lines contractors are going to have to follow for lead abatement.

I assume you mean you work at a dealer then.....What are your instructions from the manufacturers? Are you supposed to destroy them? Hold on to them in hopes of an exception? Is what you paid for them just "gone"?

I can hardley believe this crap. This is how the goverrnment is working to save us money. How many months or years will this be fought over in federal courts? How much tax revenue will this cost the gov? When will parents have to keep thier cars, bikes, boats, etc miles from thier homes so there is no risk a child could be ingesting engine parts?

I can understand regulating lead in the My Little Princess jewelry set do to the risk that a child could easily put this in thier mouths. But the chance that a child is going to some how get the apperture of the the stator in their mouths. Come on.

Don't you hate when you go to ride your Motorcycle and you find some kid chewing on your throttle cable ends or head gasket? I tell them to get lost and go suck on a bicycle cable instead.
