Dual Purpose Tires....

Anyone have any experience or comments about a good dual purpose tire? Such as......

AVON Distanzia Supermoto Tire

Pirelli MT 60-R Supermoto Tire

Kenda K761 Sportsman Supermoto Tire

I'm probably looking for something at least 20% off, 80% on road.

Crap, if those are the same tires you had on the bike when I rode with you...you are past due.

As much as you like sliding and moving the bike around, you would be good with the distanzia, Michelin Anakee, Metzeler Tourance. The Kenda and Scorpions are pretty meaty and would def. be more grip. I run the Anakees for everyday use and if I'm going off road more often, I'll be spooning a set of Dunlop D606s on.

I have run nothing but Dunlop K705s and D606s, my next set will problably be D606 front and 908RR rear. For a more road biased tire I was going to go with Pirelli Scorps or Avon Gripsters.

Oh yeah I still like the DRZ, but with street tires it really isn't dual purpose. Around here I have a great opportunity for awesome onroad-offroad rides. So I still want good grip and lean on the asphalt, but also want more traction in the dirt, and specifically the mountainous gravel roads around Mortimer! Hey I just spelled mountainous and there's no red line!
