Well, came back to answer my question and discovered there are some 2-stroke experts here. Thanks for the info

After 28 years of 2-stroke exhaust the spark arrestor was almost completely plugged. Got the handy torch and started heating, not much help until I used the air hose to create a venturi and suck the torch heat down the exhaust. Once the carbon ignited with the help of the forced air, it lit up like a flamethrower, turned red hot and burned it out. Now it’s clean as a new one.

Bike would only hit 40 mph before, now hits 60 mph. Look out JoMoCo

The fire wasn’t so bad once it was pointed in the right direction, but the smoke was unbelievable. Note to others; don’t do this in the garage unless it’s in need of bug extermination.

Once the carbon is ignited, hit it with the air. Maybe 120 psi was a little much.

Possibly a premature Thread jackulation to train wreck assumption.
I noticed Async's Butt pirate & Bigdaa revving the Socialism motor & thats what I potentially saw coming. It might & might not go there but the formula was being mixed.

You must have noticed the following caveat that I have emboldened:

This being fair warning that I was going to challenge our resident socialist politburro pundit and his cut-and-paste aproach. This thread was started, achieved response and concluded with the author's successful employment of a method to achieve positive results in surmounting a dilema he had encountered. Although there was a point where that a piece of advice given by one of the most esteemed members of WristTwisters(xrmikey)seemed to change in mid stream

In summation I'd like to interject that in my humble estimation, it is highly doubtful that this thread could ever pick up enough speed to miss the next corner thus derailing. This is a good thing for the crew, the rail line, the owners and the insurance underwriters. There will be no break in the supply chain and the loads of lead laden toys and products from China will make it to their respective WalMart shelves.

Yes... I did at first post a Kawasaki part to replace a Yamaha part.
That's usually how it goes.
Then I thought, No... I just keep it all Yamaha.

Outside of that,
I've seen you guys derail a joke, into a full blown political debate!

That then turned into a metro sexual shower peeing event.

Then turned into something about a toothbrush, & a toilet?

I dunno,
Maybe I was subconsciously trying to boost creativity of a classic WT derail by predicting an outcome sooner than it started. My Bad.

Here is the Southern Redneck way to do it. Throw it in there and drink a beer.
Bonus-you get to make s'mores, too!
