83 xs400 bobber

I bought this bike as a stock 83 and decided i wanted a hard tail bobber instead of the classic cafe. First i chopped the rear end, bought a custom hardtail from the shop down the road and did some work.. then i threw on some 15" apes and painted it rattle can gloss black. Trying to decide on painting the motor or not?? Next part of the project is a faux oil tank for my key switch and other electronics! I will keep posting new pics

It's looking old skool cool.

I like it. Keep us up on the progress reports and pics, and don't forget to intro some stuff about yourself in the book up with the maiter "D". (Intyroductions)

I vote paint the motor. Nice bike.
