Out of those 3 if the paint is included diffently the kawi if not its between the kawi and yamaha for me!!

I gotta say if it was in my plans to have a cruiser the HD screaming eagle vrod would be in the running as well but when it was all said and done it would prolly be itailan (guzzi) or german (bmw)

Not voting till you say if the paint is included!!

Victory has some nice paint jobs. There's a dealer near me. I think they look great and are American made.

I like all these bikes but Vicotry best but I like them all.

I voted for the warrior before I saw the Victory picture. I have ridden warriors and they put a big smile on my face. I have no idea about the victory other than it is bitchin looking. The warrior is fuel injected. What about the others?

Since a lot of owning a cruiser is about the image, I'd have to say the Kawi. Badass paint job and one mean looking overall bike.

True, but I want something that was made to be ridden. I went down to my local Kawi dealer and they said they won't be getting any with that paint, and the others without that paint don't look that great, and the guy said they aren't really much compared to the Warrior as far as performance.

At this point it's down to the Yamaha and the Victory, going to test ride both this weekend.

Vegas 8 Ball all the way, baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a cool ride. It gets excellent reviews by the way.

It is my choice for a personal cruiser when I can pry mysef away from troublemakers.

After being spoiled on a 9r and S3... prepare to be unimpressed.

I'm trying to follow your logic. On a sporty bike you couldn't refrain from pushing the limit. So handicapping yourself with a heavy, poor braking/turning cruiser will make you safer. Ok got it!

That's exactly why I thought the Mean Streak was the best option.

the mean streak is by far the best handling and best balanced out of the 3, i can do figure 8's on one VERY easily. the warrior is fast... and looks good with aftermarket pipes once you take the cannon off. in my experience, the Victory's just aren't up to par with the metric cruisers yet and are just short of HD in quality... plus the mean streak looks badass in person!

again... i sell the metric bikes so i'm biased...

Since the MS is heavier (30lb) and longer WB (1.5"), why do you believe it handles better? Have you ridded both on the same tight figure 8 course?

haha the way you word things can drastically change one's perception! Really the point is, I ride for more than just hitting the twisties hard. Because I find myself pushing the limit too hard, I need to take responsibility and get on the track. But really what is the point of having a sport bike on the street if I buy a bike for the track? I might as well buy something more comfortable for longer rides.

Just a note, weight is not the enemy of comfort. Actually in most cases it helps. I still vote for a Rocket III. It still has the fun factor of speed and the comfort package of a cruiser.

But if you are looking for something comfy, I find my Tiger more comfy than a cruiser. I also find sport tourers that lean more toward touring to be a blast as well. Suspension on cruisers suck IMO and the power cruisers are even worse.

I agree you should keep your adrenaline rush on the track. After you cool your head, you can safely appreaciate something sporty on the road.

A cruiser is not comfortable for long rides with lots of turns or quick stops. Cruisers are great for bling and style. If that's what you want go for it.

There are affordable mid-performance bikes you should also consider for longer ride comfort. I agree with hondaf4iguy Tiger is on the short list. You could also pick up a used GS. Good Luck!

Well at this point I've decided i'm going to sell my S3 no matter what. I will test ride these bikes before I buy, if they don't do it for me, I'll look into other options. Maybe an ST4 or something.

Oh yeah! The ST3 is in my top three dream list! Make sure you test ride the ST3 after everything else. Then you can decide if you enjoy the *200lb* weight reduction over your initial options or if you prefer a heavy cruiser.

I just have to say, as I own both cruiser and sportbike, that a cruiser is plenty comfortable on rides with turns and stops. It doesnt ride/turn/stop like a sportbike, and probably will be uncomfortable if you try to act like you are on one. but you can still motivate throught the turns having a blast, you might even enjoy the scenery too.

Some people dont like cruisers, OK, some dont like sportbikes,OK--I like both and they both are great fun. Different tools, used differently, one is not necessarily better than the other.

Anyone that rides cruiser is ghei!!!!

I voted the Victory. Reasons why?

1. A cruiser is just that, a cruiser. Coming off a sportbike, all cruisers will not handle or brake up to those levels.

2. Comfort is all relative. It depends on the person. The seating position will vary with floorboard/peg placement, the reach to the bars, if you install highway pegs, etc.

3. Looks and image is also a factor when is comes to cruisers. Hands down, I say the Victory.

Side note: Have you ever noticed how so many metric cruiser owns take off all the badging and nameplates? Hmmmm... H-D wannabe's maybe. A Victory rarely does.

No I have not noticed that around here. I have noticed that people who customize their bikes, Harley's included take the badges off the bikes for the sleeker look. The only people I know who own Victories can quote every spec to you and keep their bikes spotless. However, ask them what any one of those specs means or ask them to join you on a ride....

I think of "Brad"

yes i have actually. it's just something about the way the MS is set up that was almost instantly comfortable for me to ride. may have been the drag-style T-bars the MS has versus the warrior's longhorn style handlebars, but i felt like i had more control over the streak in slower speed manuevering.
