I think they are just messing around. No harm intended.

Good luck in getting some folks out to your event. I would go if I weren't 3k miles away.

The creepiest exchange I've seen since I've joined this board.

2007 Honda 919.
Used to be Red, now it's Green. Open for name suggestions.

The earlier comments?? Lol I agree! Like I was saying before... I'm on here trying to gain support for my dads benefit ride. He died recently and the money raised will go towards paying down his bills that were a result of him getting sick with cancer.

Sorry brother, not close enough for that one but it is admirable that you're trying to do something for a good cause in honor of your father. I wish you the best of luck in your endevour.

You just don't see the red flags do you?

Only after tremendous amounts of "speculation" by WT members do you come forth with some 'vital' information that may or may not be true.

I shared the passing of my Dad back in April 07 with my chums here and here only, and I did not come in with one post to my record.

Can you see the oddity where your thread starter is concerned?

How can a blessing hurt so bad?
Believe me as a stranger to you but not this site, losing your Dad and the pain of knowing it beforehand and having it shatter your heart is something most of us are blessed with because we loved the guy so much.
How can a blessing hurt so bad?

I wish ya luck on finding some good folk who would help you remember your Dad.

If this were (and I'm not saying it is) a scam, I do not wish good things upon you, Tom.

Don't get too jumpy. They're just playin' with ya.
If you look at some of the join dates belonging to the posters, you'll see that some of us have been on this site a while and like to be wize cracks. But it's all understood as fun and no one's feelings get hurt (most times).

You've got to admit, the first post could have been perceived many ways.

It's our way of pokin' at-cha.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. It's rough, I know.

Thanks for the invite! All most of us need is a reason to ride!

I plan to die young, as late as possible.

I checked out the facebook site and saw a pic of your Dad.

Best of luck with spreading the word. If I were there, I'd ride with the folk.
