Just bought my first bike!!!

I got a 2012 honda shadow phantom with the flat black cobra exhaust already installed. It's hot 238 miles on it and picked it up for 7500. I felt it was a fair price given the aftermarket exhaust.

Sweet! Congrats! I love the Phantom (and Shadow 750s, in general). It must look pretty sharp with the blacked out exhaust. If I were to get another cruiser, it would be that or the Shadow Spirit C2.

Now let's see some pics!

Hell yeah, that looks badass!

The matte black bodywork of the 2012s fits the bike much better than the gloss black on the 2010/11s.

I have been trying to convince my father in law to grab that bike. I love the look of that shadow.
Congrats!

Dang, that is a great first bike, CB.

I couldn't have suggested a better one.

Nice little cruiser man. Gotta love the shaft drive and the clean low/no chrome looks. I know everyone thinks Harleys are bad ass and all but I am really glad the Japanese manufacturers got into the classic cruiser market. They make the classic looks, and you don't have to worry about parking your bike over a drip tray!!!!

Shoot, we had it easy when we did Iraq 1.0 and Somalia so I reckon I got the cakewalk wars and was lucky to get out before anything worse came my way. I just think about all those poor kids now being in the thick of it and it turns my stomach how people really just don't know what they go through.

Thanks go to CB, not to me. He's got it rough, even if they are in training or bibwak'd right now... I'm sure they'll be going somewhere soon and for that you have my respect, support, and appreciation..
