Not sure this counts a "vintage", but...

here is my father's 1982 Honda V45 Sabre (VF750S). These were only made for a few years with the 750 motor as they then changed to the 700. I doubt you will find too many of these 24 year old bikes in as good condition as this one. Currently at 31k miles and running strong. We went out for a 140 mile ride today infact.

The bike was bought totaled by my oldest brother in 1985 for $300. He worked for Honda at the time and rebuilt the bike and gave it to my father as a Father's Day gift in 1987. In November of 2003 my parents moved to Arizona and my dad sold it to my second oldest brother. I bought the bike back and shipped it to AZ from NY so he could enjoy retirement with it. You guessed it, It was given to him on Father's Day 2005.

Cool story - congrats to your father. He's got some good sons.

There is no better way to enjoy retirement than riding...
Kudos for making it happen.

I don't know if it's classic or vintage yet, but hang onto it! It will be.
