MY 1983 V65

HERE IS A PIC OF MY 1983 V65 ,I HAVE COMPLETELY RESTORED IT.. i had 2 inches added to the rear wheel so i could put a 17inch 180 tire on it ..i did/do all the work myself including fabbing the swingarm,brake stay ect to put the larger wheel on the bike ..here is a link to some of my work and bikes www.rickwest.net/LINKS

I absolutely LOVE IT!

What a great job.

The V65 is one of my favorite bikes of all time, in both Magna and Sabre form.

I want to buy that Magna...

My 84 V65 is my daily driver and I love them!!
You have done a heck of a job on that one I like the undertail elimination it sure cleaned it up alot.
Did you run in to any problems with the drive shaft widening the wheel like that, and has it affected the handling much?

http://rickwest.net/190reartire.html i had to remove the damper and weld it solid ..it is a little slower to turn but not that much ..i hated the way the skinny tire looked on the back

i blast the carbs myself ,no sealer ..i have cleaned them once in my ultrasonic cleaner to freshen them up ...i use to rebuild them and sell them on ebay ..thanks for all the kind words
