no time. no place to work on it. Garage is full. I need to quit this pesky work stuff and make rebuilding bikes my fulltime job. Surely I could make $.50 an hour.

Pfttt... I could live without that one...
But this one would have me romancing the wife for permission, dreaming of on/off road retro-fun and blasting to work Fridays feeling like a 16 year old.

BTW I have a refurbished replacement seat in the garage if you buy it.

just talked it over with the wife and the timing isn't right. She likes to keep me ignorant of most financial dealings so sometimes there's a big bill on the horizon I'm not aware of, like taxes on land.

I keep checking for old 305 Scramblers, when I find them they are always in California, Oregon, too far away making it financially unrealistic to get one here.

Yes, a '72, the one with the better brakes? 4 cables up front I think.
It sat in a guy's garage next to his '69 xke for 20+yrs. It's d i r t y but it runs. He had a Vetter fairing on it that was broken so it needs a headlight but the bucket is there. I was gonna clean it all up & ride it but have too many other projects.
