Article about Ural factory

I just finished reading this article about the Ural motorcycle factory and their sidecar rigs...interesting article, it provides a perspective that I hadn't really thought about before...There's a piece that talks about the local economy in the late/post soviet days that is just bizarre.

Anyway, I think sidecars are frickin' awesome. perhaps it's a character flaw, I'm not sure. Read the article, and then share your thoughts.

I've always had a fascination for side cars. My uncle operated one in Philippines for fare, they're quite common over there as public transportation.
