Another old Honda

The calipers are sticking, the carbs need cleaned, it's dirty, and a few things need polished but it's in pretty good shape all in all. It's an '81 w/6k orig miles. I got it from the original owner for a few hundred and will probably list it after getting it going.

Well, you know...it's easier to buy more than to actually finish any
yeah, go ride it. It's not as if the brakes are any worse than those on your FJ

4 pipes mean business! Or does it mean there's 3 more than necessary? And there's nothing like a taillight the size of a lunchbox!

quick question: if it backfires through the carbs and nearly catches the airbox on fire, does that mean I used too much ether?

It means you have some carb work ahead of you!
Be careful and don't use to much either you don't want to melt the rubber diaphram!

Bingo.
I got lucky with the v65 - it started right up with fresh fuel.
This one will only run on ether but at least I know it will run. I will pull the carbs this wknd.

So how is this project going? I would love to see another CB Custom restored instead of becoming bits for me to buy on Ebay.
There is nothing quite like the sound of those four silencers. I love them.
