93 Yamaha FZR600

My buddy is looking for a bike. He doesnt have much to spend.

I found him this one on craigslist.

High Mileage and it looks like lots of abuse. The price is low and very negotiable. I am thinking if he gets the guy down $200-300 he should buy it.

Reviews? Opinions? Ideas?

Dude.........It's a turd but if you can get it for $200-$300 bucks AND IT RUNS STARTS AND STOPS reasonably okay it's worth it. It's probably worth about $100 as scrap.

Hard starting FZR usually means intake valves are going. Both of my FZR 400's were that way when I got them.

After many years and many dreams I have realized my goal of riding in all 50 states!

Now the rest of the world!

Every now and then go away and have a little relaxation. To remain constantly at work will diminish your judgment. --Leonardo Da Vinci
