Wolfman Wolf Tail on the 919

Still waiting on my SW-Motech ALU-RACK & soft bag quick release plate (From Twisted Throttle)..... but I did just receive the Wolfman Wolf Tail rear bag....

The bag fits perfect on the 919 passenger seat........

I've heard very good things about Wolfman products. You've got some serious haul assets on there...

Tail Bag looks great. Watch that bungee cord rub on the rear cowl.

Thanks for the heads up on the strap rub...... hopefully when the new rear rack comes I'll have a better rear rig point.

Now ----- if you can imagine this setup.....with a rear rack --- and another large BETA bag w/ mini saddle bags. I'm hoping to have the Beta Bag on the passenger seat (weight more centralized) and the Wolf Tail on the rack in back. If the end result turns out to be tooo much storage..... I'll leave the Wolftail at home and mount the BETA bag to the ALU-RACK.....

I'm hoping this spring to ride to Deal's Gap, NC ---- while on the way there, riding the entire Blue Ridge Parkway.... should be two days riding down w/ camping on the way.....a week there (staying in a hotel), and slabing is back 12 hours. I'm also planning on picking up a small MRA windshiled that will bolt to my handlebars to extend above the Honda Fly Screen for better long range wind protection.......

Plan on running a BT-16 front, with the BT-23 sport touring rear....and being super anal about tire pressures.

So --- the design criteriea simply has been ..... Sport tour there ---- 10 mintues to unbolt the extra shield, pop off the bags w/ the quick release, drop some PSI in the tires..... go ride the twisties.

I thought it looked pretty good there...

Although an Ohlins one would be better

Wow.....that's a great looking XRL......use to have a street legal R. I can see either an XRL or DR650 in my near future......

Like the idea of the Wolfman stuff working on just about anything - street & dirt.......
