Wimmins and 919's

I finally have a garage and shed alarm installed since I have a ton of crap that I do not want to argue with the insurance company about should someone kick in a door.
I are not to bad with a wrench but gadguts confuse the hell out of me. Shell is pissed because I have been playing on her 919 and decided to teach me a "lesson" by changing the code and not tell me about it. I open the garage and 10 seconds later the alarm goes off and to shut it off I have to unplug it and disconnect the battery back up. Now I have no alarm but I can get in my garage.

Ready for this?

She wants a signed statement from me that I will not ride her 919 and a $200 retainer that she gets if she can prove I rode her bike again.

OK I might admit that maybe the 919 is a little shorter on the wheelbase, little lighter in the saddle and kinda fun to ride. It is maybe a little different than my 1100and 1200 REX or my ZX14 but not enuf to get that worked up over. Yes it was and still is her 1st new bike but I tell her it is just a Honda and not a real bike.
The LOUD conversation did not go well after that.

Oh REALLY?
How could that be?

You have a woman with her own 919 and you're doing your level best to torque her off.
I'd have to say you are not the sharpest tool in that house.

Just a Honda, not a real bike !

Simple way to avoid this, dont ride her bike sans permission or prior knowledge ! I know you wouldnt be mad if she rode your stuff, or wrenched on it with out you knowing , would you ?

If I was her I'd change it to a $500 retainer just for that Honda comment! Haha

For me?
I'd be damn good & pissed if someone took a wrench to my bike unless I specifically asked them to.

If the OP has done this in the past to her 919, I'm surprised he still has all his body parts attached.

HA! Best laugh I've had all day! You should probably leave that 919 of hers alone before she booby-traps it w/ a mouse trap where the sun don't shine....

I was trying to figure out why her bike felt so much different than mine and her idea of my bikes being "Big Pigs" didn't help so I pulled the tape stick out. Tire to tire ground contact is at least 3 in shorter than my ZRX1100 and 4 in shorter than my ZX14 which she has been eyeing up but is not gonna happen. I thought at 1st it was the 100 lb weight difference but with it being that much shorter it is no wonder I keep trying to do U turns at stop sighns.
Now before anybody says I should sell out and get my own 919 lets not forget that to me it is just a Honda and if I feel like lowering myself to ride one all I have to do is kiss a little butt and begg which any male knows that there are times when the wimmins have to feel equal so to keep the marraige unified it is acceptable in the manbook to do every so often.

Kristen she is not smart but sneaky and kaniving may be a better term. It also helps that she does not read this board.

Red I ain't messin with it but I did put a few miles on her. I didn't ride her hard and she wasn't wet when I put her away. Wife wants to make a list of mods for me to do on the 919 and I simply have to ride the bike to see if she really needs to spend that money. You know the money that may not be needed on hers can go into mine. Right now she is talking about one of the FI setting things that are a couple hundred that she does not need and that could go towards a PC5 for the 14.
Face it she is but a wimmins that does not have the need to go as fast as I need to go. She also does not need anything to help her try to out run my ZRX1100.
I am sure the males on here understand.

LOL, your posts always make me laugh Bobby, and i totally understand that little highlighted piece above. My Brother and I both owned a couple muscle cars, his a 69 Charger, mine a 69 Roadrunner. His car was in beautiful condition, it really looked great, mine was just fair in the looks dept. However I was the gearhead that did all the mechanical stuff, including swapping out his 318 for a 440, similar to what I ran in my Roadrunner. So no matter what, my car was always faster than his, I wonder why..... In fact one day he was givin me chit about how much nicer his car looked than mine,(in front of some drag racing buddies too) Mine needed paint, body work, blah blah etc. I just politely agreed, and said " Yea, it really looks great, I see it in my rearview mirror all the time" He never gave me crap about it again.

Just-73 equal rider/weight that damn 919 would attemp to piss off my REX. The REX has more down low and builds up where the 919 may need more rpm's to find the go spot BUT if you is not fraid of the front doing a little lofting the 919 would hang thru the 1st 3 gears but I think I may have the advantage after that.
I may not be pro-honda but seriously would not take anything away from the 919 except when riding it without permission.

Just in case my baby reads this _____ I LOVE YOU DARLIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Youns being awfly harsh with the old guy here. It should be apparent that I am the innocent victim here. Her being the wimmins should have no bigger than a 600 but because we have been together for so long I LET her step up in size. Being a male I naturally ride what I want which is usually more than 900 cc so for me this is stepping down a grade.
Now you all see how I am the innocent victim. Ever since she started making better than OK money she has had an attitude change and the what about her attitude.
Another thing needs to do is quit passing me on the inside of corners which is showing a total lack of respect towards me. She says I am inhibiting her riding style. I tell her I have been looking at her ass for years and showing her ass off just makes her look like an ass.
It becomes another LOUD conversation after that so as you all can see she is the not so innocent one that you all think she is.
Later == Bobby

Mike you should have seen her face last summer when she thought I was pissing on her bike. I have a water bottle I use when stripping wheels to shine the lips. I use the water bottle just in case the tape come off and I can nuetralize the stripper instantly. Anyway we are doing a bbq with some other people and I yelled I can't hold it any longer with the water bottle in my hand. When she saw it she wigged out and I told her it wasn't nuthin but a fkn Honda. She came running over to whack the peepee when she saw the bottle.
Another one of our LOUD conversations and damn can she do paybacks.
Anyone know what it is like when you get on the bike and someone has coated the brake/clutch levers with grease?

Looks like Miss Kristen set me up to stick my foot in my mouth. The inhouse Honda Queen which would be my wife Shell gets on the puter to check email last night so I warned her that there was a possibility that a strange non-truth typing female could have sent her something BUT there was nothing there from Miss Kristen.
"OK Mr. Azz what did you do now?" was what I heard and once again all I know is the innocent guy always gets the blame. Now she thinks all here believe she is this crazy woman that just barks all the time for no apparent reason. I told her she rides a 919 and in their eyes she can do no wrong. Again it is another one sided loud conversation which I take it to mean if the weather clears up a little bit I am supposed to ride her bike to work.
