I was just wondering the same thing!
I remember him parting my hair on my very first post on WT's about the Scott SS mesh oil filter....Classic LDH!

I think he thought it was a good oil filter, he just thought it was ridiculous to spend $120.00 on an oil filter.

I think it's a good filter. It's pluses far out-weigh it's minuses. It is alot of money, but you only buy it once.

Thanks hasbeenracer. I have a similiar filter on my truck, different brand, but surgical steel filter in a billet housing. I love it, not having to spend another $XX everytime I change my oil, EVER AGAIN!! Knowing that it is filtering at all times and not just at idle, as well as it sure is purdy!!! Can't beat it with a stick!!
