What's all this 919 nonsense......where is the Supermoto section ?????

From one trouble to the next....... Finally sold the Ducati S4RS to allow me to get into further 2 wheel trouble.

I can't help it, Judge, Bikes are still legal.

But many thanks to KTM motorcycles. Yes, good old KTM is always lurking around looking for new victims to switch to the orange side.

Yes KTM, once again got hold my neural transmitters and forced me to buy one of their 07 525 XC-W off road windup toys.

Since you guys do not have a Supermoto section I posted this in the "919" section, not the "Naked Bike" section (or are they the same ?).

So you guessed it, it is going to be some badass, I mean badass SM street asphalt banger

I am finishing to make a wiring harness (from scratch)...why ? because I am stupid, ignorant and very naive. Anyhow, the toy has to be street legal. I am almost finished, shish...it even has a fekking horn !!!!.

It will have all the goodies and most genuine KTM Hard Parts. And yes, I am keeping the orange plastic...why? becuase I bleed orange now !

It will have a KTM racing SM kit package on it and will be street legal.......is that fishing for trouble to the max with that thing or what ? (Catch tank, Brembo radial, 4 Piston Brembo Gold caliper, KTM pro bend handguards, Excell black SM rims, Michelin Pilot Race, CRG barend mirror, KTM orange billet ignition cover, KTM cooling fan, RSL rad recovery tank, JD jet kit).

It's going to be hot this spring and this summer......

Pix to follow with regular updates form planet Insanity.

Phil

Mr Mike, can't wait for those Sunday morning twisties !

Adding a Joe Racer oil cooler racing kit, cored silencer, JD jet kit, Orange billet upper and lower KTM triple clamps,

The KTM kit comes with front and rear axle sliders and get ready for this .....footpeg sliders.....I kid you not.

Well now I feel so much better knowing that I won't be scratching the CT roadways with my footpegs in the twisties......Are U shooshing me ?:double flip:

Footpeg fekking sliders, I have seen it all now !

I've passed on a DRZ and two KTM SM's this fall, but can't kick the attraction. Definitely want something that will quickly swap for a trail ride now and then so the DRZ still ranks up there on the feasability scale. Don't make us wait! Pics NOW, please!

Congrats on the purchase. My dealer received an Aprilia 450 SM, and it was everything I could do to resist handing him the title to the Strom for it.

There is an Adventure/Enduro/Motard forum, but there are only three of us that frequent there. Stop by sometime, f4iguy doesn't bite... often.

Dr. Phil is beginning to piss me off. First he sells the Duc before I had a chance to ride it. Now he buys this KTM which has a seat height that is out of my reach. Oh, BTW congrats on your purchase, keep us up to date on the progress.
