This won't be a pointed answer but I know I've tried tires that other swear by and did not like the feel of them. I'd explore whatever tire is on sale right now

I buy from www.ronayers.com often. They have good prices and better shipping rates. I've been sucked into a lot of places that have great deals and then charge $25 a tire in shipping.

Metzler Road Tec Z6 is what I run on the 9er, and I do a lot of touring, and I also use RonAyers.com.

As far as "get them this week." Uh, it's Friday. You mean you want them this week, or in a week from today?

I agree that RonAyers.com is the place for tires. I do not know of anyplace that gets them out in under a week. Check local shops and find a good deal if you need them that fast. You may have to take what you can get.

I deal with RideNow.com (in town for me but they also do internet) and they have Pilot Powers for $93 on fronts (120/70's) and $120 for rears (180/55's) + $10 per tire flat fee shipping.

I just bought some and did not have any recall issues, but your results may vary (I would call before I ordered).

Happy shopping!

Just be sure they aren't made in France.
