turbo 919

alright guys, its time to put the old girl up for the winter and i plan on turboing her! only going to run maybe 8psi max boost. nothing crazy, ebay cx racing ball bearing t3 t4 hybrid turbo. i will be making a custom header out of a 900 rr header for it. using stock air box with custom machined air filter cover as my interance for boost pressure. thats as far as the i have planned. that being said here are my questions. are the injectors up for the task? will i need an igniton controller for that little boost? and where do i get my oil feed for the turbo? lol im confused on those things! maybe just run a scavenge pump with seperate cooler and reservor? thanks! oh and by the way the old turbo thread has been removed i did some lookin

First off, I will say... go for it, it's always fun seeing people do crazy things and I love following along and seeing progress... My second thought is... why bother putting that time into a bike like the 919 when you could just go buy something else that would likely have the same power as a turbo'd 919 stock?

The long and short of it is... It's been done before. The general consensus is... Don't bother. You lose more than you gain.
