Track school/coach in South Fla?

All,

Within the next couple of weeks I will be doing the advanced rider course. After that, I would like some track/coach time. I am a Novice rider and middle age family guy. I do all my own work on my vehicles, and will be doing all of the work on my 9 (bought it in June). So what I am looking to do is to get myself up and out of Squid Class riding and really begin to appreciate what this bike can do.

I'm also open to alternative suggestions, though trying to follow Barton664 up northbound I-75 at 160 mph at 2 am is probably NOT what I am thinking is the next logical step in my journey....

I honestly can't believe how lucky I was to have someone recommend the CB900F and then to find this particular bike on eBay. Just incredible.

Thank you all in advance for your time.

Thank you for the head start. It's a gorgeous Thanksgiving morning so I'm off to enjoy with particular gratitude for the community that you all provide.

I offer an extra debt of gratitude to those members who have served our country and keep this good life going for us here in the United States.

I have yet to see a squid on the track. You're probably pretty good on the street, but the track is a whole different world. There are a few novices that are going to really give you a run for your money.

I am of the opinion that the average rider is faster on a 919 than a 600. The 919 comes out of a corner pretty well. An expert on a 6 is a force to be reconed with.

You're going to need good tires, if you don't already have them. You'll probably start to run wide once you start pushing thngs unless you do something with that back shock.

Thank you for the insight and the benefit of the doubt, Sniper (I'm still irritatingly mediocre on the road). Not looking to be competitive yet, just developing my skills.

Thank you for the insight and I will pay attention to the rear shock as I get a better understanding of feedback from the bike.
