Difference between GIVI monolock and monokey cases (from RL Motorcycles

Monokey and Monolock cases attach differently to their top plates. Monokey cases are interchangeable and can be used as top or side cases. Monolock cases are designed as top cases only, they cannot be used as side cases. Monolock cases come with their own universal mounting hardware/plate which is not interchangeable with the Monokey series mounts. Monolock cases are intended to be scooter cases but can be fitted to a MonoKey mount with the purchase of a special adapter.

Great deal! In basic terms, you want one of the Monokey topcases to match the plate on the rack you got.

ouch.. sorry deadeye. been watching it since the day it was posted. i watch ebay like a hawk lol. not as many good deals these days but every once in a while i get lucky.

been watching for 599 headlights to no avail and f4/f4i forks. at the last second they keep going over $150 (screw that).

i've no clue what kind of plate i just bought so i'll just wait and see when it shows up lol. thanks for the breakdown in the difference.

I looked for 599 headlights for a long time, even on ebay UK. Never saw a one and gave up. Not ready to part with cost for a new one, either, so guess I'm stuck with the OEM.

I was the guy bidding against you. We WT-ers need to let each other know when we're bidding on stuff. You'd have won it for $50 if i didn't bid it to $61. Sorry bro.

yeah i figure if i cant find one anytime soon then i may just dole out for a new one. the 919 headlight sucks ass (in my opinion). the streetlights are brighter than my light and yes, i've replaced the bulb. used the bulb that was in my ninja and worked well then. in the 919 light, not so well.
