It's a perfect day to ride here as well, high of 80 with bright sunny skies, 0% chance of rain. I'll have to let Gin go enjoy that for me unfortunately but I'll at least hobble out to the garage and wipe the dust off the 919!

Yeah, brother. My Irrationally Exuberant dream is complement my beloved 919 with a CBR600RR or RC51. But if my wife were get involved, I'd GLADLY give up that dream for that big beautiful 1300cc Yamaha sport tourer.

hehe.. a day to remember! ended with blue lights dancing in my mirrors
"why were u driving like that.. i oughta impound that damn motorcycle. U dont care about anybody but yourself" blah blah blah at first he threatened impound but said i was definitely gettin a reckless driving, but after my squeeky clean record.. warning! thing is.. i really didnt even do anything. i wasnt flying but i did "kinda" wind out the gears thus makin noise with the black dragon can and all. oh well, no worries

I finally acquired a 919.......... on 9/19! I picked it up yesterday, 14 hours round trip to get there and back - long day. She's an 07 with 2100 miles. Minor scrape on bar end & clutch cover, otherwise cherry. According to small used bike shop where I got it, original owner bought in March of 09 and in September traded it it on a HD V Rod. Anyway, she's mine now. Hope to get through inspection and tags tomorrow.

Inspection should be cake. Never know with MVA though. Wish me luck!
