Another Michelin tire failure!

hey i know that the tire recall is on the 120/70 front pilot powers made in france. but i work in honda shop, i just did a set of pilot sports made in spain on a 600rr. less than 1000 miles(still hadwhite lines on tire) and we had tread seperation. not saying they will all do this, but just check your tires. front was good rear sucked ass.

just wanted to let you all know. watch your tires

Is this the standard Pilot Power tire?

A little more information would be helpful. DOT number, date of manufacture, size of tire.

I would document the failure, include all the sidewall information, and photos.
Call Michelin immediately. Keep us informed.

You are correct. However that might only be the tip of the iceberg.

Tire recall

It may wind up like the Ford Explorer tire deal of a few years ago.
