Man, you could win a ton of money just betting on the trap speed. That is consistent for sure.

No problems with out leathers. Its a easy going track. I ran my car for 3 years running in the 10s with out a roll bar.

You have 6mph on me, although I only raced in 80+ degree weather! Very impressive times and really nice 60's!

Hey nice times! Now I have to try drag racing! I'm heading out to Great Lakes Dragaway tomorrow. It'll be my first time so I'll be happy if I break into the 11's. I'll post up my results afterwards.

Heading to GLD, sweet!

I'd like to get down there a couple times this year for fun. We should have a SE Wisconsin showdown at the track sometime this summer. Get some WI and IL people to show up.

Count me in! I was thinking about going to Byron and Joliet this year, maybe even Ceader Falls IA. (Either pinks, or Rich Christensen will be there.)
I have always wanted to take a trip, and to go somewhere that takes more than a tank of gas. And if I cant take a trip, and go drag racing to boot! Who could ask for more?

So If I ride to GLD, it would take me 3.5 hours at 197.5 miles away. now map quest tells me I have to take 2 toll roads. !!!! But if this thing does happen than it would be worth it.

I need one of those Money Changer Dispensers for my belt.

I really want to run my car this year to see where it's at, but I could manage bringing the 9er down.

Give all of you a good look at the LED tail light conversion :P

May 10th sounds fun, but like anything in WI, weather dependent.

It's fun racing on Sunday May 10 at Great Lakes. There'll be a lot of people there but no big event to slow everything down.

lol... it's a total redneck-mobile, home-made cage and a 10 bolt rear w/ ladder bars, 350/350, the timing cover sits 4 inches behind the front axle centerline... when i get it out of the shelterbelt () i'll have to get some pics. it's ugly, but you would never guess it's about to kill you... hoping to have it finished this summer so i can cruise it

So, anyone going to GLD May 10? It's fun racing that day so hopefully everyone will get a lot of runs in. I'll be there trying to get into the mid 11's this time.

I can't commit 100% yet, but I'd like to go. I'll see as the week goes on how things shape up. Also bugging a couple friends to see if anyone else wants to come down there, but if not I'd love to come and prove that I have the fastest 9er in Wisconsin :P
