Tell me about the Tuono

I have the v-twin bug. Japanese ones don't interest me, dont trust Ducati and my ktm was a piece of junk.

Im looking for a trouble free used bike around 6k. Good idea?

Out of curiosity, what are you looking for exactly? A naked fun bike? Something that you can strap luggage to? Long trips? Day trips? Just getting around? Freeway cruising comfort important? Do you want huge power or are you happier with smaller displacement and less weight?

I am going through an internal struggle driven by lust for other bikes and have been considering trading/selling for a supermoto but they wouldn't work for a lot of people. I would love something like a Tuono for instance but I don't want something that fast.

I have one. Love it. Diablo black is the fastest color, which goes unsaid (i.e. unlike orange)
If you get one, I have Ohlins brand new shock deal for you. Picked up as a spare for my "other" Ohlins shock Not sure if I would ever need it so will pass you the savings

Does your 'extra' Ohlins have a remote preload? Mine does not...

Oh, and your bike is too effing clean. Go ride it instead of gawk at it.

Same here, sigh...

Could finance it, but at $200+ a month payments when I've got other priorities such as saving up for a house, no thanks!

I have two shocks, the one on the bike has remote preload adj., the spare does not.

This is PO's old pic from his sales ad. The bike is much cleaner now with 5k more miles

I'm looking for a fun bike that will do what the 919 won't. I also have a ZX14 for touring, so I don't need it to do anything like that either.

Ha, yeah. That whole reliability requirement really puts a damper on things.
