Hello and welcome. I can't help you with the part number question but I have to ask why you would buy new when you could just repaint what you have? You may lose a couple days on the bike but it would be significantly cheaper.

Not sure what the difference would be... the only color offered in '02 was matte black (IIRC). I wonder if they have a 49 state tank, and Cali got something different...?

Can't beat factory paint. Sometimes it just isn't about the money. I like your plan.

Welcome aboard Wicked, I would keep the color if I were you, everyone knows the smoke grey '03 is the fastest, best handling, most beautiful 919 available.

The bike looks great the way it is. I've always thought that smoke was one of the nicest colors offerend, but it's your decision. As Zookmor mentioned, maybe someone wants smoke and will swap parts... I can't help you, I just bought red.

Welcome Wicked.

Nice color - I've got the same.

I'm interested and sent you a PM regarding your parts if you do decide to sell them.

If and when you order new ANY OEM parts for it Ron Ayers has the fiche but Service Honda usually has better prices.
