Swap Ur 919 Gauges For The 599 ????

Is it possible to swap our 919 gauges with the ones from the 599 ? It's all computerized so I would think you could reprogram the 599 gauges to react to the 919 or would the computer just compensate and adjust ??? I thought I would ask, because I sure would love to have the 599 set up!

P.S I've put 8300kms on my 919 since april of this year!! Love that 919 !!

I'm no expert, but I'd imagine that if both setups have the same features it shouldn't be much of an issue to swap them. You'd probably need to check the wires coming out of each.

I'm not sure how feasible it would be, or even if it would be possible to reprogram the unit. Mounting it would probable be a nightmare. Plus surely the 599's gauge cluster isn't cheap. Unless you can find one used off of a parts bike. I don't mean to sound like a pessimist, but I'm not sure if it would be worth all the trouble.

Have you seen the Veypor? http://www.veypor.com/
It does everything !! Speedo, tach, odo, gear indicator, fuel gauge, hour meter, lap timer, datalogging, and the heads up display is just freakin' awesome.

Anyway good luck.
