Supertrapp Exhaust

Has anyone ever put Supertrapp exhaust on a 919? I sort of like the tunable disc idea and also like the looks.

Never seeing it or heard of it before, are you sure it was a Kerker? Probably a new thing?

Pretty sure that's old-school. I thought the Supertrapp setup was ancient history? Last time I saw those was on 1986 750 VFR interceptor. Well.. cept they were not real Supertrapps.. they were real Honda cans installed by dealer as a stage 2 upgrade to a race preped VFR. Loud as hell too.. since there was no discs in the ends.. just wide open cones. Cool sh!t if you can find it. Probably not available for the 9er tho. Maybe the brand is still around but they make more traditional cans now?

I had a set on my VMax- good build quality, but I thought they were too loud even with the minimum amount of discs. (More discs= more power and noise).

This one has an internal disc setup. They also have a Kerker series that has carbon cans etc.

Why? $400-500 compared to $700 for Satos

Ok, I was thinking that you wanted to have the old style supertrapp (ala m51142's image) but why not go for something design for the bike and not a Universal slip-on (Universally they don't fit anything) for about the same price?

I understand you are basing your savings on that against the satos but then again, will those Universal s/o yield the same performance, fit and finish quality as the Satos or any other mainstream brand out there?

If that's the way you want to go, well... I see no problem with that.
