Hey 9ers, I just sold my yzf600r. Love every thing about the "9". I want one bbbad! (lov your form too) Question? Is the updated supension worth paying more for on an 04/05 vs 02/03. Iam a good rider (not great),50yrs old,in good shape,lov the curves in the Ohiovalley Thanks much, Ilovheros

I put an 04 shock on my 02. I like it alot better because the adjustable rebound allowed me to dial out the spring-you-out-of-the-seat on sharp bumps the 02 had.

The 919 is by no means a suspension queen. Yes, the '04 or newer is going to be a better choice for the adjustable rebounds. But if you are handy, you can add some cool Honda bits to the 919 to make it out handle the frame.
