Stock fork oil weight 919?

Whats the stock fork oil weight in the 919 5w or 10w? Ill end up buying some maxima racing fork fluid, used some in my crf250 when i rebuilt and man o man its nice stuff.

Seems as though its 10w as it calls for honda ss-8 ... am i correct?

Yep - you're correct. But if not using the exact same factory stuff 10w is certainly close enough. Plus it will make things a tad bit firmer!

It's a fool who looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart.
